She was very friendly and informative and my facial was so relaxing! She talked me thru all of the processes and treatment options for my skins individual needs and at the end my skin was refreshed and glowing. If you think facials don't do anything or you've never had one, you have to have one at The Sanctuary. The improvement in my skin was significant! Tighter and brighter. I let Lisa decide what's needed as she knows my skin. Wonderfully relaxing, too! Neck, hands and feet massaged if you like- which I definitely do! Try it!
I see Lisa regularly for an amazing massage but this time I decided to try one of her wraps. While waiting for the wrap to work its magic I also had a facial. Definitely the way to go. The shoulder and foot massage was so relaxing and I was excited to find I had lost 4 inches from the wrap and 5 days later the inches are still gone. Thanks Lisa!

I took advantage of a special offer to have an age reducing facial at the spa. I've had great facials and average facials in other places. This one ranked as one of the best. The spa itself is relaxing with nice music, peaceful colors, a lounge area with beverages (even tiny bottles of wine). Lisa Murphy was my technician. Her card says she is an owner and skin care specialist. She really seemed to know what she was doing. I have no complaints whatsoever about the experience and plan to go there again.
I have been a regular at The Sanctuary for many years, and have always had the best treatments. The spa is beautiful and relaxing and their menu of services is large and varied. I don't use the menu however, as Lisa is an expert at looking at my skin and preparing the perfect facial for my needs. Her products are wonderful and she is cutting edge by bringing in new products and equipment regularly. The staff is professional and friendly and the service is the best! Go for a relaxing spa day if you can, if not go for the best facial and / or massage you have ever had! You will be so happy you did.
I have had two services here--a facial and a Swedish massage. The facial was an absolutely wonderful experience. It included a head/neck/shoulder massage, hand massage, and foot massage. It was unbelievably relaxing, and my skin looked and felt great afterwards. No big push to buy products, either, which I really appreciated. The massage also was excellent. I had big knots in my neck and shoulders, and she really got after them! Prices were akin to the prices I pay in my home (DC area), but I'd say the services were a notch above.

I had never been before, so I didn't know what to expect. It was wonderful. They have a nice quiet relaxation area in the back to wait in until your service. The spa was clean, calming, and quite relaxing. We were all very happy with our services!!
